Hospital of St Cross, Winchester

The Hospital of St Cross is England's oldest almshouse. Following coffee in the medieval Hundred Men Hall, we'll have a guided tour of the Norman Church, a cathedral in miniature, the Georgian Kitchen, Cloisters and the Master's walled garden, full of colour. We end up at the local pub for lunch.

Coffee and cake at 10.30am followed by guided tour by one of the Brothers.

Contact us for an application form. Membership costs £12 per person or £17 per couple. This includes eight meetings per year with a speaker and five optional meetings of the Society’s Archaeological Group. You will also receive a copy of the Society’s twice-yearly bulletin.
